Dr. Maggie Grasty is a teacher and non-profit executive director. She received an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice from Delaware County Community College; BS and MS in Criminal Justice from Widener University, M.Ed from Cheyney University and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Wilmington University. Dr. Grasty has serviced juveniles and adults in the criminal justice system in several capacities before turning her focus to youth development and ultimately teaching. Her career in youth development ignited her passion for education. This motivation inspired her to create a non-profit with several community members, East Side Neighborhood Connection, and implement an after school/summer program for youth in the City of Chester. Ms. Grasty was born and raised in the City of Chester. She is an educational advocate and continues to initiate innovative programs in the community.
